Hollingbourne

All Saints Church Hollingbourne is the parish church of Hollingbourne and is located at the base of the North Downs. The church was first built in the 14th century and was subsequently altered and refurbished in the 15th, 17th and 19th centuries and is a Grade 1 listed bulding. Its interior provides evidence of the rich local history of this part of Kent and in particular its association with the Culpeper family, who owned Hollingbourne Manor and Leeds Castle - which lies just over a mile to the south.  Indeed the church contains numerous monuments to the local Culpeper family.
